Vehicle lifts for disabled persons are specially designed devices that help individuals with mobility challenges enter, exit, and travel safely in vehicles. These lifts play a vital role in promoting independence, comfort, and accessibility for wheelchair users and people with limited mobility.
What Is a Vehicle Lift?
A vehicle lift is a mechanical platform installed in cars, vans, buses, or other vehicles. It raises and lowers a wheelchair or mobility aid between ground level and the vehicle floor. This allows users to board and disembark without physical strain or external assistance.
CEDAS Vehicle Lift‘s range of wheelchair lifts and accessories for transporting disabled people is suitable for a wide variety of special vehicles, such as ambulances, minivans, coaches, commercial vehicles, buses, minibuses, taxis, school buses and cars for public or private use. Each model is the ideal synthesis of innovation, ease of assembly and functionality. Our disabled lifts for vehicles are CE-marked and comply with electromagnetic compatibility regulations.
BBI series includes different types of twin arm wheelchair lifts with a full fixed anti-slip platform. Thanks to an electro-hydraulic control unit that drives the two hydraulic cylinders, the devices operate automatically and can be controlled with a spiral cable hand control. The BBI series wheelchair lifts are available in four different sizes and can be installed on a wide range of special vehicles.
The characteristic feature of these twin arm lift is the possibility of folding the non-slip platform horizontally, leaving less space in the vehicle and a completely unobstructed view for the driver. As with the BBI series lifts, these devices are also fully automatic and can be operated with a practical coiled cable hand control. The technology of the BBO series is patent-protected and is available in seven different sizes.
The new Z500 lift differs from the other models of double arm lifts for its maximum capacity which is up to 500 kg.
The special steel frame enables an increased lifting capacity without increasing the own weight of the lift.
The GRP grating load platform is certified non-slip in accordance with DIN 51130-R13. This special patented grating material gives the loading platform a high mechanical resistance. Like the entire range of double arm lifts, this model offers the same excellent performance in terms of technical features, safety and reliability.
In some cases, such as small vehicles, it is preferable to install a double arm lift that can fold vertically. BBV range by Mariani Lift System responds to this need with a range of practical and solid products. The split double arm lifts, are completely automatic and can be operated by a spiral cable hand control. They are available in three different sizes.
